Argentina (1923)
Ley 11.210 "de represion de monopolios" (1923) prohibited "any agreement, covenant, combination, amalgamation or merger of assets/capital tending to establish or sustain a monopoly and profiting from it."[1] This law was later amended in 1946 by Ley 12.906 which was designed to repress all behaviors designed to establish or maintain a monopoly.[2] The 1946 amendment had little effect because of the political situation that persisted in Argentina until the 1990's.[3]
The substantive provisions of 11.210 and 12.906 are currently unavailable.
