Ireland 1996 Prison Sentences

The statute pretty clearly allows for imprisonment.

§3 - "An undertaking guilty of an offence under section 2 of this Act shall be liable . . . on summary conviction . . . to such a fine or, at the discretion of the court, to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months or to both such fine and such imprisonment . . . ."
