No competition law yet in force. Discussions by the Economic Affairs Directorate (EAD) at the Ministry of Economy could lead to draft unfair competition and anti monopoly laws. The new laws are aimed at promoting Qatar's economic development both inside the country and with foreign markets.^[1]
